Hogwarts Express Lionel Train Set with Bluetooth & Remote

The young witches and wizards have crossed through the barrier to PLATFORM 9 3/4 and are now boarding the Hogwarts Express Electric O Gauge Bluetooth 5.0 Train Set with Remote, headed for the HOGWARTS School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. They are eager to unravel the magic and mystery behind spells and potions.

The Hogwarts Express Electric Train Set includes a Steam Locomotive, Tender, Passenger Cars, Combination Car, Curved FasTrack sections, Straight FasTrack sections, Terminal FasTrack section, Plug-Expand-Play Power Lock-on section, Wall-pack Power supply, and Remote Control.

The operation technology via the Lionel LionChief App features Bluetooth 5.0 for operating the train with a compatible smart device. The Lionel Voice Control (LVC) enables running the locomotive by speaking commands into a smart device. Voice Streaming and Recording (VSR) allows custom train announcements and live streaming through the engine.

The RailSounds RC Sound System controls steam chuffing, background sounds, whistle, bell, user-activated announcements, and movie sound clips. The FasTrack System has a prototypical look and a snap-together locking mechanism for reliable connections.

The features of the train set include an electric locomotive with a diecast metal body, maintenance-free motor, on/off switch for sounds and smoke, operating couplers, steam chuffing and background sounds, whistle, bell, user-activated announcements, puffing smoke, operating headlight, traction tires, diaphragms between cars, interior illumination, and plastic trucks. The remote control has a forward and reverse speed control knob, whistle, bell, and special announcement buttons, and requires (3) AAA alkaline batteries (not included).

The train set also requires (3) AAA alkaline batteries, and a Phillips screwdriver is needed to access the battery compartment on the remote control. Regular lubrication of the wheels, axles, and linkage is recommended to prevent squeaks and wear. It should be wiped with a soft cloth occasionally to keep track and wheels free from dirt and grease. All batteries should be removed when the train will not be used for an extended period of time. The train set is recommended for ages 14 years and up.
